Course Description

This course takes a closer look at the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Georgia State University (GSU) process for providing reasonable accommodations. During this course, you will receive:

  • An overview of the law:
  • The definition of reasonable accommodations
  • Information on the GSU process
  • The definition of retaliation and discrimination related to the GSU process

This is a very interactive class and includes an activity that gives the participants an opportunity to process a hypothetical case.
