The University System of Georgia requires all Supervisors to conduct and document an annual performance appraisal for all Georgia State University staff. Annual conversations with employees are an opportunity to reflect on the past year, identify lessons learned, celebrate achievements and plan for the future. As such, performance evaluations are key to increasing engagement, strengthening morale and facilitating high performance among staff. This workshop will review strategies for conducting performance evaluations that are consistent with employment laws, facilitate open dialogue and provide clarity for the future.
